A brief typically has more material to cover your bottom, covering or partially covering your cheeks. A thong has a thin strip of material that is designed to sit between them. Briefs come in many different rises ‘high rise, low rise, mid rise’, a thong typically rises high and is high leg. A thong is great if you want to guarantee no VPL (visible pant line). However, it’s not the most comfortable option for all women - this is where a seamless brief can step up to the mark. You can have all the comfort of standard cut briefs, but with no seams that will show under a dress.
Shapewear
In our opinion, shapewear isn’t the most comfortable lingerie to wear on your wedding day, however, for many it’s the go to. It can create a feminine shape and symmetrical cleavage, which can suit many wedding dresses. Keep in mind that shapewear can be restricting, but there are plenty of options out there to accommodate the shape you’d like to create. This includes shaping skins, shaping dresses, shaping shorts and strapless designs.
